Biography

Da IllFellaz is a music production group consisting of Nomics & DJ Deuce. Though introduced to each other while in High School, the team did not officially get together until they both graduated from college and decided that music was their true passion. Nomics graduated from SUNY-Albany with a degree in Economics/Business while Deuce went on to major in Media Studies/Public Relations at Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh, New York. After graduating, Nomics stayed in Upstate, NY starting his company Equilibrium Entertainment, LLC in 2004, and soon there after opening up his own recording studio, EQ Studios. Recording and producing for various local acts throughout the Capital Region, he slowly made a name for himself by continually working on his production skills, executively producing and engineering albums for artists Ty Butta, Milly Warbucks, and The Movement to name a few. He has also engineered/produced singles for Ameer, JB!!, and Poverty. As for DJ Deuce; after co-founding his college's radio station, WMSM Knight Radio, he was pick up by Clear Channel radio station 96.1 KISS FM, Poughkeepsie. He then went on to become part of the World Famous Vynil Squad DJ/remix squadron and became known as "The Super Producer." He has produced over 10 different local and syndicated radio shows for legendary names such as Ed Lover and Dr. Dre and Radio Hall of Fame Nominee, Walt Baby Love, all while producing music. DJ Deuce is currently the producer on Fatman Scoop and DJ Mr. Vince’s internationally syndicated radio show, "Full Throttle Radio", as well as the producer of the Russell Simmons "Hip-Hop Laws of Success" radio show. He also helps to manage and distribute over 15 syndicated radio shows at Dial Global Media in Manhattan. Over the years, he has also become a distinguished musician playing the guitar, drums and specializing in piano and keyboard. By combining all of their experiences, Nomics and DJ Deuce create the elite music production team, Da IllFellaz.
