Kelvin R. Smalls(born Jan. 18, 1976) in Charleston, S.C. but you can call him the QuietComposer because of the way he produces his tracks. He has relied on the same qualities that helped shaped the genre of hip hop music. Ever since the golden years of hip hop(1988-2000) the QuietComposer has been studying and analyzing all the beatmakers and producers of that era, and now he has is own recipe for making soulful type beats. He has produced tracks for the already established artist: J'von "Bishop" Lawrence. Continuing from the lineage of all the hip hop producers and beatmakers that has come before him, the QuietComposer has many influences in the game. Just to name a few: Pete Rock, Large Professor, Marley Marl, DJ Premier, Rza, Dilla, Dr. Dre, and 9th wonder. The QuietComposer is looking to take his production to new heights for years to come.
