Here are the rules for competing in the Battle That! head-to-head battles.
OVERVIEW
There will be at least 16 spots available for people to compete. Currently, there will be 8 spots open for each side (16 for each if there's 32 competitors, 32 for each if there's 64 competitors, etc). Each person that is accepted into the battle agrees to pay the required $5, which will go into a "pot". The winner of the entire battle will receive 62.5% of the pot and IllMuzik will take 37.5% (for hosting and putting together the entire battle). They will also receive an ILL-4-LIFE account, and a custom title under their name in the forums, identifying them as a Battle That! champion. The runner-up will receive their own custom page in the Producers section (a value of $25).
VOTING
Every registered member in the IllMuzik forums will be able to vote, along with the IllMuzik staff. The voting for each round (4 rounds total) will last one day, with the results being posted at the end of the fourth day. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHEAT. There will be a lot on the line here, so anyone suspected of cheating in the votes will be disqualified. Any member who is not in the battle and is suspected of cheating with the votes, will have their votes rejected.
RULES
- You must be a member in the Forums, with no minimum amount of posts required.
- There is no theme for these battles, so you can submit any sort of Hip-Hop track(s) that you want.
- To enter, you need to fill out this form. By filling out the form, you agree to pay the required amount of $5 to enter. Currently we are accepting payment through PayPal only.
- If you are disqualified for breaking the rules of competition/voting, IllMuzik will not refund your signup fee of $5.
- You can use 1 beat for the whole competition, or you can use a different beat for each round (if you advance), it's up to you.
- IllMuzik will be hosting all of the beats.
CONCLUSION
Read these guidelines carefully and follow them. Do not try to signup in the forums under different names just so you can vote for yourself. We will be on the lookout for these kinds of sneaky tactics, so don't even try it. And please don't get your friends to signup in the forums and vote for you.
