Rules for competing:

1. This competition will take place once a month. In each competition, there will be a "theme". Check the main page for info on what the current theme is.
2. ONLY registered members can compete. You must be a member in the Forums, and you must have at least 50 posts. Also, you are required to post one of your beats in the Showcase section of the forums (unless you've already done so in the past), before you enter this competition. You must meet this criteria before the date that the competition starts.
3. All the beats will be judged by the IllMuzik staff, along with the current champion. The current champion will not be able to enter this competition, but will be able to vote.
4. The maximum amount of contestants is 20.
5. Your beat will be hosted on IllMuzik. First you must fill out the entry form, then you will receive an email with instructions on how and where you can upload your beat. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME YOUR BEAT. Wait for your email from IllMuzik on uploading.
6. Your beat MUST NOT be longer than 2 minutes. That's plenty of time to show your skills. It must be an instrumental (occasional vocal snippets are OK), and you can only submit 1 beat!
7. Your beat will be posted in MP3 format, encoded at 128kbps. This will make your file small and easier to upload and stream for the listeners.
8. The winner of each competition will receive an interview here at IllMuzik, and a custom title underneath their name in the Forums.
