If your comment arose due to producer's block, then everone get's that, don't let that get you down. Try working on some old beats or something where most of the stuff is already done for you.
If its cause you ain't gettting better, keep practicing, or consider if you can live with it just being for fun.

Thanks for the uplifting comments...

But as i get older, i write some pretty cool songs, but "who the fuck do I show it to?" I have this entire backlog of songs and melodies that can be taken to the next level as songs, or choruses, or whatever...

What the fuck is the point to writing shit when you can't have people hear your shit? For myself?

It just seems like I'm deceiving myself with this.

you just need some MCs to work with. You could start in your neighbourhood or city by just reaching out to any MCs or groups that are looking for beats. From there anything could happen.

Ayo...theres always the option of setting up shop. Become a business man and try and sell your shit. MP3.com, Soundclick.com...where ever. Sell it online, sell it offline, make beat CD's to sell, put together a mixtape, if you got all the beats together....you got the world at your finger tips.
