fl 4 and adobe audition 1.5?

They can... You have to slave FL thru AA... I'm not in front of my studio comp... and I haven't multitracked in AA in at least a year, but it's like... the dropdown next to the 'Help' section... but you can also consult the 'Help' section also... it says it in there...

you can also have audition be trigger by a midi signal send through fl. i think you need to press f6 and have a look in the settings. haven't done that for years though.
