what is sp be more specific?

E-mu SP12, a sampling drum machine, very popular
in the mid to late eighties with hiphop producers.
it samples in 12 bit which gives it a little 'dirtier' sound
preferred by a lot of people.

there's also the sp 1200 which doesn't have any sounds
onboard, has an internal disk drive and more sample memory.

oh yeah, and is massively overpriced these days.

i use the sp 1200 its my favorite piece , they gonna have to bury me with mine
