Motif/Phatt and MPC

I'm looking into buying some equiptment. I'm definitely copping the MPC 1000 ( I already have sound forge and do all my manipulating of samples in their anyways) then I wanted to get either the motif rack or Mo Phatt.

I already have a midi controller I just wanted to know how I would use the MPC with the Mo Phatt or Motif.

Does the Motif/Phatt get plugged directly into the MPC???


Midi Controller>Motif/Phatt>MPC

or do I need another piece of equiptment to make it work?
