Advice: Soundmodule / Sample CD

Hey together. I am looking for some good sounds to work with. Can you recommend a a soundmodule? Probably not the Proteus, because I think I have already heard every of its sounds on several productions. Is there an alternative? Or does anyone know of any really good sample cds? price should not be above 400 EUR / $.

Just about any sound module has a way to tweak the sounds in it. If you`ve heard all the sounds of one module, then it`s because no-one wants to change the stock sounds of that certain board or module. It takes time. Read the manual, and start tweakin. Buy yourself a cheap module, and tweak away. Sample Cds are kewl too. Just load up the sample, and tweak it in your sampler.
