okay what is the most efficient way or software to use to remove vocals or to extract just the voice from a song... So when you bring it over to Fruity Loops all you get is the voice and not the extra stuff like bits of the song....

Is the best thing to use Cool Edit...if so what do I do??? I tried the Quick Filter option and had some success depending on how much background noise there is...

But it seems all that does is make the voice louder and you can still hear the song in the background....

Or is there another software I can get to just get the portion of the voice I want and discard the other stuff????

No matter what you do the result won't be perfect ........

that's why I like vinyls with acapellas on them ...

It's been said before and I'll say it again.... You can't seperate a sound totally from a song. If it's a regular stereo mix, your chances of taking out just the vocals are impossible. Unless everything else happens to be panned hard left and right for example.

look for the acapellas pretty much -- it's almost impossible to do it to perfection

Do you know how much damage would be done if you could really strip songs like that??I'm glad that it's something that can't be done ....to easy.......DIG DIG DIG for accapellas

yeah I feel you...I be feeling like if I didn't take work or struggle to make a beat I didn't do my best

the best thing you can do in my opinon is import the file to cool edit pro go to effects>amplitude>channel mixer> scroll down on presets hit vocal cut and that will give you the beat but.... most of the times is sounds like pure garbage if you find a way to make it sound good hit me up man~1~

you know how many dope samples ive come across wishing that the mofucka would just stop singing for a few seconds........ i hate when that happens.................... if there was a way to do this then i would be pushing a lot more beats than i am now lol..... probably 3 times as much............ cant wait till that day comes..
