decent headphones?

whatup peeps,

I've been wanting to get some decent studio monitor speakers or some decent headphones for a while but today decided fuk it, I need something now - I've decided to buy some good headphones this week.

Can anyone who knows anything about headphones let me know what prices and brands I should be looking for and any other info.

Headphones wise, I fuck with the sony studio monitors "MDR-VD300" But the down side is they break easy :( and I have bought like 5 pair of them because i broke them so many times :( But its worth it, I love em and they sound the best. its aroung 50 bucks

i like the sony mdr-v700's they are the SHIT if u cant afford that get the 600s 600's are almost just as good. if u can't afford that get the 500's if u can't afford that get the 400s if u can't afford that get the 300s
