whatup peeps,
I'm just wondering how many USB slots I should get on my new PC. I know I'll need one for my MIDI keyboard and maybe one for a USB flash drive.
1. Can I even get more than 2 usb slots on a PC or is that the maximum?
2. What music related things may I need USB slots for?
I don't have much knowledge in this area so any advice is great.

Make sure you get at least 4 usb slots, You may also need them for non-music peripherals such as a mouse,qwerty/azerty keyboard ,printer, modem etc ... so 4 is a minimum ...

I have 4, 2 front and 2 back. You can use them for midi controllers, midi interfaces, soundcards, flash ram etc...so as phil delicately put it...4 is a minimum.

make sure that you get usb 2.0 ports! for most mainboards you can buy additional slots.
