I checked this synth out at Sam Ash. The sounds are hot, definitely. They sound real clear and not too dry, like most synths before you add effects. I like the size too...it is not too bulky and it is light weighted; good for taking to the studio. The drum sounds were decent too, but its always better to use a sampler for drum tracks (the fantom does not have a sampler, unfortunately). Another good thing is that this keyboard has a lot of expansion board options.

I have a Triton Studio.....

If I could get another keyboard I'd choose the fantom. I played with it a few days ago at a store...and its really nice. The only thing that sucks is that it doesn't have touch screen!
