Choose Preset - Empty then you load your samples or whatever you want on the layer properts tab that's it....

The FPC can hardly be compared to a MPC. It's very very basic, but I like it anyway.

Which will be the (Cut By number). Assign the number to another pad as you would do on a MPC. U might have to timestretch the sample in FL Slicer or Sampler channel, then import back into the FPC. You can nearly get the effect of a MPC, just read the help manual or explore the plug in. The FPC also has a MIDI Learn function on each pad.

yo the best way to use fpc, the way i use it with my trigger finger, i find softkicks, mid kicks, and hard kicks, like for the 808, i put the deep sub, toward the end, so if i hit the pad really hard, then it will trigger the sub, and it will kinda put an accent on the drums, so it makes it realistic, it aint about layering, its about how u assign, under what velocities each sample is triggered. For the trigger finger, once u get it, load up an empty sample channel, and press the pads in numerical order, this will tell u what note each pad triggers, and u can assign away in the fpc.

can you load chopped up samples into the FPC or can you only load drums sounds, because on the tutorial she was only talking about loading drum sounds......?

This is my preset for the FPC vst

All 16 pads are assigned to the first 16 keys (including black ones) on ur midi controller!

For e.g. Pad 1 = C4 on ur midi controller

Each pad also has cut-offs 2 avoid sounds clashing!
