I always here people talk about using swing in fruity loops, but i have never used it, i dont know what it does, can someone explain it to me????

it shifts the position of specified "ticks" (sequencer grid points) earlier or later to create a more layed back or intense or jumpy feel depending on the settings. it adds humanization so it doesnt sound so robotic.

How do you apply just a little bit, cause I know I always be settin everything back like 2 hairs in piano roll everytime to get it to sound human. I consider myself pretty well a master of FL, but I've never used swing? some master huh,

i been usin swing lately i like how it brings that well "swing" and groove to the track guess its self explanatory now that i think about it lol
Seems best to start with it then to add later and build hits around swung tick.

Only thing I don't like about the swing feature is that is shifts everythin in the step sequencer
