View Full Version : need advice on purchasin my 1st sampler/drum machine

i wana buy sumtin like mpc2000xl cuz am tired of clickin da mouse but am not sure if its suitable at such a stage (i kno da price of it, but am savin) when am unfamiliar wit such hardware. How will i use it, link it 2 my pc?

Well if you're going to definitely get a hardware drum machine/sampler then I would get the Yamaha RS7000. The MPC is good but the RS7000 offers so much more if you ask me.

Naw hell with that get the 4000 thousand its the greats thing ever...it spits all over software and the older mpcs..........sike naw im just joking i got a mpc xl and it gets the job done very well

the rs7000 gives you a lot more right out the box.... youo dont really need anything else if you got that. i have an mpc and i am familiar with it and its great to have as a sequencer plus noone else can even touch the pads on it. i would go rs7000, even tho i prefer the mpc. you will have more to work with.

its jus da mouse thing, might seem a bitz stupid actually.
samplers dont crush as often pcs, do they?

upgrade your computer, get a midi controller and reinstall your os . this should do the job

i suggest you go check it out at the music store first -- then decide if you still want it or not

the MPC will not dissappoint...........if you can find sounds this is the best gear for what you want to do
