Recording Question

i would like to know if you can trigger the record button from your midi controller.....and my other question is .... can you set up a count in for the metronome.......can someone help me with these please

If you want a count in simply set your L marker to whatever count you want, ie. one bar of 4 counts....and then just use that as a typical recording lead in.

If you want to trigger the record from yer midi controller right click on the record button and then you should get the option to assign to midi.

i appreciate that about the midi controller.......so in other words.....reason does not have a feature that i can set to make it count in other than moving the marker

Yeah, it doesnt, but its the same thing when u have the metronome going and a 4 count. Did u get everything working yet?
