Hello, all - my name is JD and I own the SCSI hardware company SCSIforSamplers.com (you may have seen our banner ads on this site). We recently came into a quantity of MicroTech PCD-47B Media Card reader/writer units and are planning to offer them mounted in external enclosures, alone and with hard drive/or CDROM drive Combo units. I am looking for someone willing to beta-test a unit to make sure it works okay with the MPC2000XL before we start offering them large-scale. If you are interested, please contact me!

Thanks to all who contacted me about this. We completed testing today, thanks to a local gent with an MPC2000XL and the unit works perfectly! Yes, you can. The Microtech PCD-47B is a multi-card reader/writer that uses CompactFlash, Smart Media and PCMCIA cards. All you need is one of our products featuring the PCD and a SCSI cable (we have those as well) and you'll be ready to go. Please check out our website for more info and pricing.
