FL: Corrupted file

I can´t open one of my flp files any more. Can i somehow recover that file? Don´t tell men to sit down and do it all over again. it was a whole freaking song. please help!

Damn that sucks. Have you tried opening it with Cool Edit? I know it will make it into an audio file, but still....

How is it corrupted though? You try to open it and it and what does it say?

the flp file is something like 68 kb and it holds the sequences

I get that when I try to open FL files with Fruity Studio and then back to FL (Dont ask why). Try downloading Fruity Studio and using it to open the file.
You may get luck and get the sequence out of it although it usually looses the sample association on the sequencer.
If u dont have Fruity studio u can email me the file. I'll try and open it for you and send you the MIDI file. You can work wiv that. Mailto:seyi@6mics.com

i use to have that problem and i just lost those beats, uninstalled my old FL and now i just stick to FL Studio

yea i got the same trouble... i installed the same FL studio on a windows XP that i did ona windows 98... the XP version works fine... the 98 model cant open up flp files... it could just be a matter of operating systems... the version of FL studio that i am using is the 4.0 version... i figure downloading the newer version might erradicate the problem...

are you using a demo version of FL studio... becuase that version isnt supposed to let you save flps and come back to them.

I have that same problem..Im on win98 and it will not let me open the file up..It just gives me that error message and shuts down the program....anybody have any more suggestions????
