How do I configure pro tools to be the master and my fantom to be the slave through midi time code. I can't find it in manual. I need it to be step by step so I can get it right.
thanx
if its been discussed in a prior link in detail please give me the link.

Talk like you're trying to use Rewire,But don't think your fantom
can be use like that. Also Protools not best with midi.
Would think it's best just to use fantom audio output to go in Protools.

basically have your protools set to midi clock out (set bpm to your track in protools from the bpm on the fantom), on the fantom (dunno which you got) but if you got S or x6 then go to the menu and choose system set up, then choose sync/tempo, where it says sync mode set it to "Slave-Midi" that should work for you, just solo each track one by one, press play and record on the transport in protools your fantom should playback the sequence and you can track the beat...

it should be a tab at the top of the screen that says MIDI
look down the list until u see Midi Beat Clock, mine is about 4 or 5th from the bottom
choose that then, check enable midi beat clock and which port your using depending on your hardware
