sup so i decided to take a chance and buy reason without ever using it ,i say it on musicians friendforr 200 bucks and i know thats cheap compared to anywhere else ive seen it ,im jus takin a look at it now and it seems real complicated a big jump from the acid software i use but i have the manual and im ready to get studyin,i d apreciate any tips or advice any of ythe reason users have

Go through each part of it whilst trying it out in the program...that's really the only way.

reason is heavy, ive got it n id hate 2 switch software, been on reason 1.01 since it came out, 4get reason 2 ,aint all dat

lol, wat i meant was if u hav reason 1, u dont hav 2 get version 2 cuz there really isnt nuttin new, still cant use vsts directly wit it, but if u got reason 2 den cool. reason is one of da baddest production programs out there, hope ur ready 2 make hits!!!!!

Why are you telling him that? Reason 2.0 has the malstrom synth and version one doesnt have it. The malstrom is dope as fuck. Also I have version 2.5 It has the best reverb reason has ever had plus the Scream Distortion which is very dope for making drums and synths sound old school, and a vocoder which is complicated but dope as well. I'd recommend getting reason 2.5 its free from their site since you payed for reason.

Also, there's the NN-XT sampler with 2.0...if you know how to work every inch of it then it's dope too...

anyone know i can use my keyboard as a direct audio in source on reson instead of midi,i have absolutely no concept of midi record all my drum ppatterns and synths as wavs ,also is the a way to import mp3s or wavs into reason so u can work with them

yes.... though u need an audio interface.. usb quatro is cheap affordable...
as for importing i have no idea read the manual can't be to hard... i only used itwith the mpc... and keep the mpc as the sequencer... i don't like the sequencer in 2.0 just the sound and moudles in it...

cool ill look into that,i cant use the audio in on my soundcard?

i have no concept of midi i have a midi slot in my soundcard and i have the cables but im not sure how to use my keyboard with reason,can anyone help me with this
