whats goin on everybody,
I have a question, I bought an mpc 2000 a couple days ago and im tryin to figure out if its worth it to buy an external drive, or would it be just as easy to use the cd rom on my computer to upload samples?

buy a zip drive it's worth it nowdays a zip100 should be cheap...

zip drives are pretty cheap now a days but i still run 3.5 floppys wit no complaints, focus on your music...................

I use a zip drive for my MPC and one for my Triton. They are a whole lot faster so you can concentrate mor on your music. One 100mb zip is like 75 floppies man. And that much faster. Some samples can take up like most of a whole floppy before you chop it up

just get a zip drive from ebay, u donīt pay much for it and itīs
a nice and fast way to store and read your samples.
zip discs are also very cheap on ebay...
but itīs gotta be scsi!

go with Zips...they save you a lot of time and hassle

I also have a scsi cd drive so I can put in a sample cd, take the sounds I want and save the programs and sounds on the zip disk. Keep the floppy to so you can transfer sounds from the computer or just to have mor options to work with.
