Just wondering if anyone else is using an mpc 2000 (not xl) and how you get around not being able to slice your samples using zones. I have just been bringing back the track to sample each piece - not always the most precise.........is there a solution or should I just deal with it?

check out mpc-tutor. it should be able to help you with that. i was told that you can't slice with the 2000. i know the 2000xl and up can. i'd check that site and make sure. i mean i could be wrong.

sadly u cant use zone feature and u need to chop every sample manually..what i use i chop my samples with my pc (recycle, audition etc)..just get any audio editor software and u're set..it saves time..

YES WITH THE 2000, EVERYTHING FROM CHOPPING and slicing you have to do the hard way, but you can master it probally faster than people with a xl and up. just takes practice.
