Reason and cubase sx 3

When i try to rewire reason through cubase, reason says it cant connect to the audio engine. Anyone had this problem? if so, how can you fix it?

In cubase.. go to whatever the dropdown seletcion is for opening up the vst panel.. Then click reason. Then just click the power button on one of the mixer channels and the other one will automatically be selected.

Then just open reason.
