Im in dire need of help with this damned Guitar Mute. The Mute that im referring to is from this song "Poppin them thangs", by G-Unit. I've checked a few sources, and the Mute is in fact a sampled Mute, and wasnt done live. Is there anyone here who might be able to help me recreate this one?
I have just about every worthwhile refill (at least the ones that im aware of) so I should be able to use whatever tools you guys might suggest.
Thanks
It's like your average overdrive guitar mute. It's pretty heavy. I guess you could some of the overdriven muted guitar patches built into reason, eq the low end a little or put a low pass on it. Then to thicken it maybe add the Scream effect and play with that.

Please excuse my ignorance but how would I go about putting a low pass on it?
a low pass filter on the sampler. It should be labeled lp 12 or lp 24

Cool, did that. Sound still isnt quite there, did some minor eq'ing, maybe its just a Guitar Mute I dont have in my library. Which is a shock
Try tweaking with the scream filters.
