advice needed 2500 or 2000xl

This may sound like a stupid question but have to ask, am lookng to purchase an MPC and i can pick up a 2500 or 2000xl mcd for around the same price new. been looking for a mint condition 2000xl but like gold dust.

what would be the machine of choice ?

after trawling the boards went for a 2500, got a good deal for a new box £750 with midi cables (£60) thrown in about $1312. For all you UK cats, one love to www.247dv.com

2500...if there was a massive price difference in favor of the 2000, then that would have made sense to move back to older technology. The 2500 has better storage options and expandability.
