recycle 2.1 question?

do you have to have reason 3.0 to use this. or can i just do my chops in recycle and put them in fl studio? just wondering but i got cool edit and acid 4.0 where i do my chops now. just wondering if recycle is better to use.

yea, just export the chops as wav. files

Im pretty sure the export in recycle is REX only but i might be Wrong!

Answer to your 1st question: No, you can use Propellerhead Recycle files for other programs.
2nd question: Yes do what Sacred One said by exporting a wave or using the Rex files in FL 5 or higher. I don't know ne of the older version so can't tell you on those.

you can use apk files with mpc editor
you can use apk files with FL slicer
you can use akp files with exs24 in logic
you can use cdxtract to convert apk to whatever format you like
you can extract the wavs with a midifile of the original order
