Mpc4000

i am in the process of ordering myself a mpc4000, but a week ago i had it already ordered on a site which then cancelled the order. but i wanted to know whats the MAIN differences between the production-D($3300) setup and the mpc4000+($2600) setup.
on some sites it says the dif is 2 boards wit spdf and 8 outs blah blah blah. and one site said the production d has an 80gb hard drive.
do they all come with the same size hard drive and what not.
if anyone can help me out it'll be appreciated

go to akaipro.com and look up the reviews from electronic musician magazine.... i just read it the other day. i think that the harddrives are the same for all, but the boards are different. make sure you get the 8 outs for it though.... you will need them.

i figured i wouldnt need the 8 outs cause i would just connect is to my pc or somethin and mix down tracks on that. but i dont know much bout hardware anyways so i'll look into that
