a bit off topic but...HELP!!

ok ever since my sister pressed "yes" to install pop up crap now all these pop ups keep coming up and i recently went on a pop up program destroying rampage and when i turn my computer on today....EZULA HOTEXT INSTALLS ITSELF!!!!! how the hell do i get rid of it permantly cuz its pissing me off :headbang:

changalang, I've never seen EZULA HOTEXT before but if you are running any version of WINDOWS you can uninstall it by...
1. click on START
2. click on SETTINGS then CONTROL PANEL
3. click on ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
4. in the programs window, find EZULA HOTEXT, highlite it.
5. click uninstall

That should get rid of it for you. If you're running a Mac OS then someone else will have to help you. I run PC.

Also, I think you can download programs that search for all spyware/adware/pop-ups on your computer, which it will then delete upon your accept.

basically both of those options are ok....but the thing is they don't go in the registry and remove all instances of the program....I think there is a website that lists how to remove adware and stealth trojans...

if that doesnt work, go to start click run and type msconfig hit enter and youll see a window with tabs, click the one that says startup and u can control all the programs that start when your computer does..and get rid on em to free up space and speed the computer up itself
