Different Signatures

Have any of you guys tried to use anything other than a 4/4 signature?

Yes, I did a techno track a few years ago in 3/4. It sounded cool as hell, but was difficult to mix with other tracks as everything else is in 4/4.

I did a 3/4 beat a very long time ago with this weird type waltz sample...not any good though.

you can use a different signature, the best thing is to stick with 4/4 and just alter the note, 1/8ths 16ths 1/32nds and triplets......

i used a 3/4 signiture on this fiddle sample but it was really confusing so i just stick to 4/4
