Recording records using sound forge?

Can anyone help me out? I just got a turntable and a mixer to start sampling off of records, but I can't seem to get it to record while in sound forge. Does anyone know how to do this???

1. you need to run an output from your mixer to the input on your soundcard {on your cpu}.
2.open your sound properties by clicking on the speaker icon.
3.click file then properties then recording
4. make sure that you have line in checked

Yeah DECALION's post should work.
But if u want a sharper sound or better quality u should
buy a new sound card like a Darla,Terrac, or Sound Blaster Live.
Cus they offer a higher SPL[Sound Pressure Level] & Bitrate.
