if i had the digi 001 pro tools le setup with the sampletank plug in, i wouldnt need another sequencer, right? i am under the impression that Pro Tools does both audio and midi. am i wrong in this thinking? i have heard the sampletank demos... very good, similar to the halion vst plug ins.

i also am wondering about plug in support for this. it doesnt look like it compares with the plug in abilities of cubase sx, but sampletank has a huge library, plus it can convert akai files.... the digi 001 setup is cheaper than a cubase sx setup, so i am leaning towards this one..
anyone with some knowledge of the two products that can give me good info?

I dig the cubase setup man, im all about the plugins and such. I guess theres not much difference in quality, but i like them vst joints, alot of the newer ones blow hardware out da water
