mpc bassline problem

im having a problem while adding basslines with my mpc. i got a bass sound in a pad, programmed the overlap to Note Off, and used the 16 levels keys to play it out. the problem is, sometimes (often at the end of the sequence) a bass sound i played will not sound. i know its there because its there when i go into step mode, it just wont sound. even when i take time correct off it still happens. this is always just one hit in between others. does anybody know whats wrong with what im doing or can suggest what i could do??

Try Mono or Poly.

the problem here is that the note lengths overlap each other,
and since it's set to note off, they will cut off. you can go to step
edit and shorten the length of those troublesome notes and that
should fix the problem. of course, setting the pad on mono will
also fix it but then you'll lose the control over the note lengths.

Hey,

Is there a 'legato' feature on the MPC? This will make sure that no notes overlap each other without having to manually change each note's length.
