help with xpand

I'm trying to assign different instrument patches to different tracks in xpand but don't know how I'm new to pro tools, any help would be apreciated

Sorry Man... i dont even have PT. Try to google or youtube for DigiDesign XPand.

Or.. I was reading somthing about Bus's in the Trax. Set the bus up for each track with the Xpand and change the patches.

You can't Xpand only has 1 midi channel so you need to set one up for each track. You can layer/split up to 4 sounds per instance.

Try settn up an AUX Input track.......change the input to Bus 1.....Add the Xpand to this AUX Input Tracks....Choose what tracks u wanna send to the AUX Input by selecting "Bus 1" on the output of the track(s) w wanna send through Xpand.......Hope that helps
