f it... I'm going to master Cool Edit Pro!!!

Hey guys,

Many cats who are making ill beats and who's opinion I respect use or have used Cool Edit with great results (Vitaminman, Excel The Brain, Fade and 9th Wonder to name a few).

I've had Cool Edit Pro 2.0 for a while now, but have yet to come close to utilsing the potential that this seemingly powerful program has. I think many of the people here could benefit from learning how to use this program to assist their beatmaking as well as myself.

I'd appreciate it greatly if some of the heads that use the program could share some of their wisdom about what is so great about this program, what y'all personally use the program for, and any helpful suggestions on how to learn/master it.

Well I won't go into detail because I feel I've described enough with the articles I've written on it. Check out the Articles section (although I'm sure you have). To show you how I use Cool Edit for certain things. This is a good thread though, I hope it gets some good responses.

good point Fade. I have already read your very good articles on Cool Edit but I think I will re-read them and really try to learn everything I can from them.

i use cool edit any i cannot b bothered to change even though cubase and logic can be used to give a very polished sound.

but as for making beats on cool edit alone good luck (cool edit is a multi track recorder and a sound editor, not a beat machine)
