Uh oh. I'm not even gonna start with this, I'll let Guevara handle it. You didn't see the thread that was started about this? We're thinking Akai's trying to cheaply promote this thing on sites like IllMuzik.

Anyway, it looks dope though but the colors make it look like a toy (even though it's got some really nice features!)

they have this thing on the Akai Professional site, but theres no price list, like FADE said, its no big deal, he can handle it better than anyone...it does look dope but im stickin wit the 2000XL, soon as i get one.

Hey,

It will probably have some pretty nice specs, based on the specs of their z-series samplers. USB connetivity with a computer for programming and sample editing, lots of RAM, internal IDE drive, maybe even some sounds already built into it! I don't see any USB ports in the graphics, though, that would be silly of Akai to not include them.

I can't believe they're still making these things though, they'll probably ram the whole 'we built the original MPC' thing into people and lots of people will buy them.
