Sample Sources/Gettin Wax

Hi Peops

Just wannted to ask all of you producers out there how everyone is gettin his records for sampling.
Are you sampling ONLY from wax or do you use mp3, cd etc....?
How do get your sources?
Robbing old People to get their stuff?
Buy the ish on the streets from a cuban immigrant?

I am always in search for new samples, just as I think most of you too. I´m using a the collections of my fam. Or buying old records in dusty,dark stores.

So thats a lot of request, gimme input....................:booty:

i just started making beats,
and i get my vinyl from anywhere to tell u the truth,
mostly small record shops down here in frisco,
flea market is good,
salvation army is good,
theres alot of places, u gotta digg,
and about that comment u made

I have almost the same source as you, like flea market and so on.
I try not to take samples that are not from wax. How do you think about that?

About the comment i made: Of course its stupid. Elseway I wouldn´t be writing it.

I don´t want to disriminate no one!!! And if you read my words again you see i just making jokes on other peoples cost like everyone else. But not for hurting them but: TO MAKE JOKES!!!

I don´t see a difference between people from different backrounds and have also no problems about jokes that are on my own costs, as long as i can laugh with them.

So I don´t think my words are that hard that you should feel touched by them........

no prob.,
about sampling from other sources (not wax),
well i try and stick to wax, and only wax, but tv is a good sample source, ex. movies, shows, and shit like that,
but most of all i sample from vinyl,
were u from?
down here were i live they got pretty good amount of
record stores to check out..

I usually sample just from vinyl, but I haven't picked up anything new lately 'cause MTL sucks for record shops.

montreal does indeed suck for digging. all the spots are dry. thank god for the ghetto record stores that dont know shit.
