Preamp Drum Beefup!

Hey guys. Just got an mbox 2 mini for my setup. Ive been using pro tools for a while to sample and track shit, but not really to much for my mixes. Anyways, trying to beef up the sound.

Im wondering if there is a way I could send a track (any track... mono drum track for instance, or stereo sample) out of the mbox through tube preamp to shape the drums and beef em up, then re-record back into pro tools.

I know this is possible with other systems, just trying to figure out how I can do it with my current setup/mbox mini.

Of course it's possible you just have to get your routing correct. I do this from my delta 1010 to my pre all the time

Why not send it out of monitor output(or any other out) into the tube then out of the tube into an input?
Or into say and mpc from the out of the tube?

If you don't have enough I/O's get an small I/o box (work wonders)
