playem out on my keyboard Yamaha W7. but Id suggest networking with some musicians and get that bass guitar or stanup bass in to do that work

I had a rock dude at my school come to my house and record a few bass lines and strings for me. I load them up in my MPC 2000XL and tune them, and just tweak with the sound to my perfection.

I do the same as Briellz. Live bass rox, tweaked out even better. Peace

I use 3 methods:
1. Play my own basslines on keyboard -when a simple bassline is needed.
2. Hire a bassist or play the bass guitar myself -when I want the feel and sound of a REAL bass guitar.
3. Sample a bassline and disect it -when its too complicated for me to play and sound good, or when I'm looking for a certain sounding bassline that I can't reproduce.
