Pro Tools 8LE doesn't start up?

I just copped an mbox with PT8.....After the install I go to start it up...and it freezes up when it's loading up the Structure plug-in ALL THE TIME... Even when I try to go load up a session, same thing...any thoughts?

Running Win XP Pro. I'm running the system at optimal performance at this point...I'm running only 1.5GB right now (planning on upgrading my RAM).

which version of pt 8? check the digi site about issues and fixes (there's one about structure and structure le, but i don't think it' about bugs). for a temporary fix, find the structure dpm and rsr and cut and paste them outside of the dae plugin folder (it's in the common files\digidesign folder)

Ah..I saw on the digi site that IE 8 causes it to not work...LOL.... Unreal....So I'll be uninstalling IE8...

Yea it's the ie 8 issue I had the same problem when I upgraded to 8 u gotta uninstall ie 8 and reboot

wow slow down, what do you hope to do with your mbox without Pro tools?

Well...I was able to get PT to load up....basically Structure.dpm conflicts with IE8 Removed IE8 and it doesn't freeze up now...........But it's not detecting my mbox...and I found out why: the usb port in the mbox was extremely loose, which later did not power on at all.....
