Rockin that digi 003 rack + factory bundles and its Noice!

Its a hella step up from 6.4
The layout is somewhat different and I havent mind melded with it yet but its dope.
I think I have to put the unit back online though to get Melodyne Essential to operate, iono I havent figured it out yet but of course its a matter of time and that plugin rocks.
Came with Expand2 which has a BUNCH of synths in it. I couldnt be happier with that one, Im now going to be entering the wonderful world of midi instruments/plugins!
I miss my plugins on my old system dont know if I'll be able to transport them over but the new stuff but the new plugins with it are dope and Ill just have to learn all of them now.

BFD lite for some reason wont run all the sounds in it saying it cant write the files but really thats the worst thing so far evrything else is great and it sounds nice as well!
The talk box plugin is dope as hell, it literally had some of my synths talking, yodeling etc etc.

So all in all it was hell getting to this point but Im happy with this new set up!
Props to dreampolice who has been instrumental in the whole shabang!

Yup the Digi003 was the DIFFERENCE between Top40 and recoding in a public bathroom with the mic covered by blankets, sound wise.

Guy you have to understand Relic was on Pro tools 6.4 with a 001 talk about shit man. I mean you cant even really use Virtual Instruments with PT 6.4. So this is a huge upgrade.

But I dont know if you could hear a huge difference between an Mbox pro and a 003 but if you need 8+ inputs with pre amps than the 003 is the way to go.

Cables mic and PRE AMP.... Record everything 24 bit amd most boxes are the same...its all about the pre amp

I did, I mainly worked with a digi002, an old employee stole it. So we had a Mbox laying around, that I used for a good 4 months. BIG Difference. Then we Up graded to 003 and it LITERALLY sounded like I had been recording through a blanket. Everything poped out so much clearer. 003 ftw. Now we havent even gotten into modds...

i don't know anybody that uses pt le in a studio without either a black lion mod, a mod from somewhere else, or at the very least, a quality front end converter like lynx, apogee, or metric halo that bypasses the pt ad/da converters

Yeah, I was just like Relic...using PT 6.4 Just for tracking. I just recently upgraded to PT8 M-Powered. I learning to the VSTs (Xpand!2 is SICK!!!!) I'm gaining an understanding of STRUCTURE free. I guess in order for me to really freak STRUCTURE I need to purchase the full version (that stinks but it's only $50). The Melodyne thing I need to figure out because when I open it during a session, it opens as a REWIRE??? Do get it. DreamPolice, what am I doing wrong here? PM me could you? Not sure whats up with celemony, the pdf's say something about going to their website, which would be gay because its already confirmed I own it, but Im with you I want to play with that bad boy!

The plugins are very def different and I am not sure how to "take them" yet , but try putting that air talkbox set to stone age choir on some low bass syth and just some dirty south synth and watch what it does..

Yes melodyne is rewire, because it handles audio so differently. I usually just load the vocals stand alone then bring them back in to PT.

depending on what melodyne you have, you can either use it via rewire, the melodyne bridge or via the plugin or fully offline and separately from your daw. if you don't have the plug in version, then either bridge it or rewire it
