I know the ASR -10 is a keyboard with sampling ability. But is the ASR-X sampling workstation just as good or not?

Well, I own the Asr-10 and cant say enough good things about it. I've never had the oppertunity to use the Asr-X, but I've heard good things about it. Well I can vouch on the Asr-10, it does everything.. Tons of effects to customize, good sequencer (Takes a while to learn) Re-Sampling <---- important. and some other good ish. . anyways, im pro asr-10 so its really up to you. I'd ask Asr- X users for feedback on the machine.

The ASR-X is junk.....Don't even mess with it.

you rarely hear tracks being made on that peice of crap. Its good to learn on though....

its not necessarly the equipment, its how you work that sucker ya know? when I borrowed my friends ASR-X it just didn't stick with me...My drums didn't smack hard like they do on the ASR-10 or MPC 2000XL.

Just let me know if you have anymore questions on Samplers...Keyboards or whatever....
