Mpc 2000xl And The Asr10???

I want to buy an ASR10 keyboard so my question is are the two compatible? If so, how? I would like if someone could give me a set up tip. Thanks.

they are compatible far as Midi but it's an odd mix..what you can do is use the asr-10 for sampling and midi control and the mpc for sequences

Here's a basic MIDI setup, I don't know exactly what else you're working with so its hard to really say what the best setup would be. If you're planning on using your mpc as a sequencer/sampler then here you go...

this is my setup can someone tell me how to configure the 2 pieces. I want my mpc to be the controller
