Fruity/Cool Edit Pitch Help?

Hey... Just wondering... Is there anyway i can change the pitch of a sample without changing th length in either Cool Edit Pro 2.0 or Fruity Loops Studio 3.0... Any help appreciated... Thanks...

berserk, i'd recommend you to download a freeware plugin called: PitchWorks (freeware). "The plugin allows you alternate sample Pitch (with preserve sample length), Tempo (change sample length but preserve pitch) or change both Pitch and Tempo using post process high quality resampler (Speed) without preserving pitch and sample length".
Compatibility: primary targets are Sound Forge 6.0 and Cool Edit Pro 2
(for other hosts issues read the manual)

edit: you can use it in fruity loops as well.
