Just interested to know how much you generally charge when selling beats?

Money - the golden pot at the end of the production rainbow.

I usually go with $200-500 a track, depending on what I hear about that person as an artist and if they have a lot of money to work with or not.

Glad to see the site back up!

Between $ 0 and $ 2000. Most tracks are sold for nothing though, with the agreement that if any money is made we get a percentage. It depends on the artist...and what they make from it.

$60 to $150 a pop, depending on how good the beat sounds. And how much $$ the emcee has. To sell with copyrights, then your talkiin about 2 to 4 G's.... Holla

Has anyone thought about starting a beat clearinghouse of some sort. Where you can put up your beats for sale (like consignment) and the website gets a percentage or something if its sold. Is there such a place right now?..Holla.

What up Lou. Yo, that sounds like a great idea. Am not aware of anything like that. If you find anything out, holla back!

Due to the thread Changalang mentions, where we've already talked a lot about this, this thread has been closed.
