cool edit and acid wont work..help!

ok whenever i open up cool edit it says that it cant open some plugin from cakewalk and then it closes. for acid whenever i open it, it just freezes. can someone help me out? i already tried installing and uninstalling it like 10 times

Don't think this will help that much, but i've heard that quite a few people have that same problem with Acid.

I use Acid and have never had this problem

I know this might sound stupid (or obvious) but did you un-install that plugin and try running Cool Edit then?

i dont know how to uninstall it...and i remember uninstalling cakewalk before and it had that plugin..maybe ill reinstall cakewalk

Actually I had this very problem the other day for no reason. What I did was un-install the plugin, reboot my PC then opened Cool Edit and no problems.

Go into the Add/Remove programs in the Windows Control Panel and see if that plugin shows up, if it does then un-install it.
