How do I plug my sl1200 to sample on my mpc2000

I`ve tried to plug it in Digital but it didnt work. Can anyone help me with that

Yeah,
The missing link is a dj mixer. You can get a cheap gemini or vestax for 30 or 40 bucks, plug your turntable into the dj mixer, then plug the output of the dj mixer into the record input of the MPC.

OR,
If you dont have room for a dj mixer, just get a phono-preamp. Plug the rca's from the SL1200 into the preamp, then plug the Preamp output rca's into the MPC's analog input.
