Hey yo, I was thinking about this the other day. The MPC 2000 uses the Akai s2000 sampler right? my mate has one for sale cheap so if i brought it and brought and akai MPD and sequenced on my pc would that be the same as an MPC 2000 or will there b any differences?

the sequencer. thats really the major difference.

k kool, I heard that the sequencer on the MPC was quite hard to use anyway, so it would b more simplified sequencing using a pc.

No offense, but that's completely wrong. The MPC sequencer is very intuitive and just detailed enough for you to try all kinds of things. Everyone's got their preferences, but I hear and see more complaints about software sequencing than anything.
