Any one know of any good studio monitors for mixing down hip hop/r&b music (a lot of low end) for $300 or less

i got the tannoy reveal passive. if you have a good amp these are quite nice.

These are not affordable (if you choose 5.1 over 2.1) but you should all check the new Blue Sky systems...it seems to be the new craze in monitors...

Hey have you looked into getting some Alesis M1 I think they about that price range and sound really good.

i have the m1 active mk2's and they cost about 400 a pair the do me just fine but i got magazine and american musical has the truths for about 319 dollars on sale right now if im correct.

I spent a little bit of cash on my monitors (being that they're the most important part of MIX-DOWN! :p ) and got the Event 20/20bas's. They're so crisp! They won't lie to you... Definitely worth the money!
