Here's some anyway.
MPC1000
set startup message / owner name.
- in Mode: Other, press F3 to select "FOOTSW". This is where you normally set up your footswitches;
- hit F6*. This brings up a window where you can enter up to 16 characters of custom text that gets displayed as the "owner" name when you power on the MPC1000.
edit: I could be slightly wrong about the key, it's F4-F6 for sure. Hitting F3 first may not be needed. Can't confirm this right now - sorry!
Pad Sensitivity Adjustment Screen:
Hit Mode and then press Other. There is a hidden screen when you press Shift and the F4 key at the same time.
MPC2000xl

Hold SHIFT and sequentially press F5, F4, F6
Pad / Slider Test:

Another note for mpc user, micheal from midicase also made several program editors for pc and also mac, models now also include the mpc1k. Very handy for the die hard mpc samplists and saves a lot of menuflipping operations.
